• Being experienced, independent and an ambitious person
• Having a passion for infants
• Being mobile (move around/ floor time/ be able to get up and down in timely manner, able to pick up infants – bending and stooping)
• Ability to engage (play time with the infants/no baby talk)
• Following room schedules
• Recording daily reports
• Keeping file of monthly infant care sheets
• Teamwork must be exemplified
• Communication with parents and team mates
• No cell phones while caring for children
• Following minimum standards (State issued requirements)
• Individual attention given to each child including playing, talking, cuddling and holding
• Holding and comforting a child who is upset
• Prompt attention given to physical needs, such as feeding and diapering
• Talking to children as they are fed, changed, and held, such as naming objects, singing or saying rhymes
• Ensuring the environment is free of objects that may cause choking in children younger than three years
• Never leaving an infant unsupervised

Job Type: Full-timePay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Early Childhood Education: 2 years (Preferred)
• Childcare: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Salary: $12 – 15 per hour
