Are you a Web Administrator with expertise in Drupal CMS, web accessibility, and large-scale website migrations? We’re seeking a contract Web Administrator to assist with managing and improving a 3,000+ page flagship website while ensuring compliance with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).What you will be doing:Support the migration, management, and optimization of multiple websitesAdminister and update website content using Drupal CMSEnsure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, troubleshooting and remediating accessibility issuesWork closely with IT and content teams to implement best practices for SEO, security, and performanceDevelop web content, graphics, and layout while ensuring consistency across all platformsTrain web contributors and content managers on CMS usage and governanceWhat you must have:7+ years of experience in web administration and large-scale website managementHands-on experience with Drupal CMS for content creation, taxonomy, and navigationStrong HTML, CSS, JavaScript skills and familiarity with front-end development best practicesDeep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and accessibility testing toolsProven experience remediating accessibility issues for websites and PDFsKnowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimizationStrong ability to translate technical language for non-technical stakeholdersNice to have:Excellent communication skills to collaborate across multiple teamsExperience preparing user documentation and UX artifactsStrong organizational skills for managing multiple projects and deadlinesThis is a 100% remote contract role, offering flexibility while allowing you to drive accessibility and website improvements for a high-impact public sector organization.
