Description: Job Title Sr. Marketing Manager – ShawgrassPosition OverviewThe Marketing Manager, Shawgrass, is responsible for marketing development, execution and measurement focused on growing the market share and profitability of the brand across channels. The role supervises and executes marketing activities and must develop a strong understanding of the business + competitive companies/products and the target consumer. As a leader within the organization, the candidate must have the skill set and experience necessary to make sound business decisions, set strategic direction and influence internal/external stakeholders to execute a strategy.Primary ResponsibilitiesDefine, execute and measure complex marketing and merchandising strategies effectively supporting Shawgrass across different distribution channelsManage multiple projects from concept to completion to ensure timelines and budgets are metHighly collaborative role requiring strategic influence with product category teams, product design, sales and other marketing team membersConduct and leverage market research and put it to work for the brand. Identify gaps in research and work with internal stakeholders to obtain and leverageDevelop and oversee marketing materials relevant to the desired audience, including but not limited to national sales force, wholesale distribution, retail customers, and pro installer channelTradeshow development and executionUnderstand and align marketing deliverables with message, imagery, and product for tangible and digital platformsEffectively communicate marketing initiatives to internal and external audiences + customersDrive brand consistency through all marketing activitiesEffectively identify KPIs and measure marketing tactics, optimize as neededPositively represent Shaw’s culture and values when engaging with customersHelp with marketing initiatives/projects on the Shaw Turf business as neededRequirements:4-year degree5+ years of marketing, communications, or relevant experienceMultitasking and managing complex workload abilityAgile mindsetProven interpersonal and leadership skillsPreferred:Knowledge of graphic design programs and principlesknowledge of social media strategies and techniquesExperience working in a high pressure, deadline driven environmentCore Competencies:Create Strategic PlanMake Effective DecisionsInfluence OthersDrive ResultsDeliver Compelling CommunicationDemonstrate Good JudgementBuild Trusting RelationshipsWork Shift 8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AMShaw Industries is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
