Description: PASSIONATE ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA AND THE FIRST AMENDMENT?BOUTIQUE FIRST AMENDMENT/SOCIAL MEDIA LAW FIRM seeks 3L or 4L, or recent law grad with wonderful writing skills, who is passionate, like we are, about this area of the law.Successful candidate will have law journal or clinic experience evidencing their interest and writing skills in this area. We are looking for a team player with excellent grades, writing ability and the ability to work with clients directly.Again, you must have great writing skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. • Draft legal memoranda with results of research in order to assist with the strategy for court proceedings
• Maintain client files to ensure information is up-to-date and make sure deadlines are properly docketed
• Type the first drafts of legal documents, such as motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery requests/responses
• Conduct legal research to confirm cited legal authority for judges and attorneys

Qualifications:

• Law school student with an undergraduate degree or recent law school graduate
• Take or have already successfully passed state bar exam
• Candidates must have great writing skills and communication skills to be able to argue effectively
• Display attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Minimum one year of experience working in the legal industry
