You’ll help deliver software solutions, research briefings, and innovation roadmaps that make a tangible impact on future force structures and operational effectiveness.Basic Qualifications:5–10 years of experience in software development5+ years of front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred)BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field requiredMaster’s degree (MS/MA) preferredExperience supporting DoD projects highly preferredSecurity Clearance Requirements:Must be eligible for a Top Secret (TS) clearanceCurrent active Secret clearance requiredTS/SCI eligibility highly preferredWork Location & Travel:Primary site: Pentagon, Washington, D.C.Alternate site: Melbourne, FL (as needed)Remote work authorized with customer approvalTravel: Approx. 10–20%, including some overseas travel and site visitsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to travel and conduct site visits in remote or industrial locationsAbility to navigate stairs, open gantries, and rugged surfacesOccasional lifting of equipment, display materials, or tech mock-upsValid passport required for overseas travelBe Part of Something BiggerAt Axient, you won’t just build software — you’ll help shape the future of defense.
