Position Highlights The James E. Rogers College of Law is accepting applications for an Administrative Operations Professional to join their Finance Office. This position provides administrative support for the College of Law, including financial transaction processing and assisting, creating, and distributing internal financial reports. We are seeking a team player with a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to details, as well as the ability to set priorities and handle multiple projects. Duties & ResponsibilitiesFinancial Transactions:

  • Processes financial documents such as Disbursement Vouchers, Travel and Expense Reimbursements, Requisitions, Purchase Orders, and ICONs
  • Processes SETs, GECs, DIs, Account Transfers, and Position Distributions to correct accounting information

Purchasing Card Handling:

  • Serves as Department P-Card Holder and manages the use of the department P-Card to ensure compliance with P-Card and the UA policies and regulations
  • Reconciles Administration P-Cards
  • Makes purchases on behalf of faculty and staff when needed

Develops and distributes the monthly recurring Faculty Allotment reports:

  • Follows the Finance Office instructions and produces monthly FA reports
  • Emails the reports to appropriate faculty according to the instructions given
  • Coordinates with other finance office personnel and provides guidance to faculty and answers faculty questions

Accounting:

  • Reconciles and manages assigned Law accounts
  • Assists the business manager to communicate with faculty and staff to ensure compliance with the university and accounting regulations

Other duties as assigned, that may include:

  • Coordinate with faculty support of Limited Time Adjunct onboarding
  • OPS form routing and preparation
  • Assist in cash handling such as dropping off physical checks to the bursar’s office as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through experience required
  • 1 year of relevant work experience required
