Description: Position Title: Web Tester 4Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a Web Tester 4 with our client located in Redmond, WA. This is an onsite role 5 days a week.Job Description:

• The main function of a web tester is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution.

Job Responsibilities:

• Purpose of the Team: The purpose of the team is to work on the Settings app for software, specifically focusing on modifying the search experience within the app. This includes integrating inline controls and enhancing the search engine with an AI model to help users find and change settings directly within the search interface.
• Key projects:
• Modifying the search experience in the software Settings app to include inline controls.
• Enhancing the search engine with an AI model to assist users in finding and changing settings directly within the search interface.

Job Qualifications:

• Must Have 8+ years’ experience with Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures.
• Must Have 8+ years’ experience with Excel.
• Must Have 8+ years’ experience with Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
• 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.
• Associate’s/ bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• Best vs. Average:
• Curiosity and proactive testing, especially with complex UX flows.
• Organized and great communication skills.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and document problems.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
• Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
• Troubleshoot
• Experience testing software
• Experience writing test documentation such as Test Plans, scripts and test results reports
• Ability to analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract
• Location: Redmond. WA (Onsite).
• Pay Range: $30/hr. to $33/hr.
• An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass a background check will not be considered for employment.
