Then we might be a good fit for you!!We are looking for individuals who LOVE kids!Job Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

• Ensuring the safety of all children
• Preparation and execution of weekly lesson plan
• Potty training assistance, and helping children with personal hygiene
• Cleaning and maintaining classroom areas
• Attendance at all staff meetings and required center functions
• Assisting with preparation of meals and snacks
• Using the Center’s App for daily contact with parents (i.e. potty schedule for younger children, pictures of activities, sleep schedule, and any other information that is relevant)

Qualifications: * Must meet all state requirements (Central Background Check, CPR/1st Aid, Safe Sleep Training, Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety, Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect).

• Must meet specific qualifications for a teacher or head teacher (this can be accomplished a variety of ways; through education, experience, steps on the registry or a combination).
• Ability to take direction and understand instructions from superiors.
• Reliable, timely, and able to work autonomously.
• Friendly and outgoing demeanor.
• Able to work as a team.
• Ability to maintain composure under stress.
• Must be available between the hours of 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $16.00 – $18.00 per hourBenefits:

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Required)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

Salary: $34320 – 39520 per year

Location: Salem, OR
