Located in the vibrant center of Downtown Chandler and at the core of the entertainment district, the Chandler Center for the Arts is an engaging, welcoming, innovative space with three dynamic performance spaces – the 1500-seat Steena Murray Mainstage, the 350-seat Hal Bogle Theatre, and the 250-seat Recital Hall. Through its partnership with Chandler Unified School District, the Center serves both students and the community through shared facility use. Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone with an Associate’s Degree in Theatre, Arts, Business, Accounting, or a related field and experience in event coordination, contract management, box office sales, or patron services in a large public assembly facility. The Rental and Program Specialist will oversee a robust rentals program of local, regional, and national events that include performances, presentations, meetings, and receptions. This position also oversees administrative duties for community engagement programs, including the Summer Concert Series, workshops, school-time performances, theatre camps, youth arts council, and the artist-in-residence program. This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.The City of Chandler will conduct a driving record check as a condition of employment.
