Description: Sr. Scientist – Beverage Product DevelopmentJob Description: Lead product development to ensure nutritional profiles, ingredient statements, and desired attributes are met. Oversee scale-up and commercialization procedures.Responsibilities:

• Modify recipes and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate on product development decisions.
• Source new ingredients for cost optimization and improvements.
• Manage product development projects through various stages.
• Develop specifications and integrated recipes.
• Collect data for nutritional labeling and certification.
• Create development schedules to meet timelines.
• Support cost-saving initiatives.
• Execute customer/plant trials and new product startups.
• Coordinate sample shipments for evaluations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop innovative products.
• Draft product specifications and establish production parameters.
• Prepare reports and technical proposals.
• Ensure product legality, safety, and quality per GFSI standards.
• Comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Up to 30% travel, including international.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary, Nutrition, or related field.
• Knowledge of food industry standards (quality, food safety, HACCP, GMPs).
• Self-motivated with experience in scientific procedures and food safety.
• Results-driven with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in task prioritization and time management.
• 5+ years in new product development, including commercialization and cost improvements.
• Experience in aseptic/thermal process food sauce development.
