The objective of our approach is to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.SYSCOM is seeking experienced IT Support Services Project Managers for a long-term engagement with one of our valued clients. This is an exciting remote-based opportunity to contribute to impactful technology initiatives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Work Location: The position is Remote; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite meetings at the client’s offices in Baton Rouge, LA – approximately once per quarter or less.Job duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide day-to-day project management support
• Create and publish project documentation, including project status reports, project schedules and plans, risks, issues and other documentation, as needed
• Plan for utilization of resources
• Meet with Management and Users to understand project goals and milestones
• Track Project milestones and deliverables throughout project life-cycle
• Provide and maintain detailed software/hardware maintenance documentation
• Act as liaison on behalf of client and internal departments
• Create end user documentation and training as needed
• Provide technical knowledge transfer, training and documentation to client and internal staff for all requested work, as needed

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

• 5+ years of experience in managing projects
• Ability to provide business references for all positions listed on resume
• Ability to work within the Continental US
• Excellent communication skills

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

• Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and Law Enforcement technology project experience
• Project management experience with a state agency
• PMP Certification
• SCRUM Master Certification
• Managing large scale projects with many teams and stakeholders
