This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and client-focused legal professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about achieving justice for insured individuals and businesses.Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Advocacy: Represent policyholders in first-party property insurance cases, including coverage disputes, claim denials, and bad faith claims.
  • Case Management: Handle a diverse litigation caseload, conduct in-depth legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
  • Negotiations: Engage with insurers, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to negotiate favourable settlements.
  • Court Representation: Represent clients during hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials with a focus on delivering compelling and effective advocacy.
  • Legal Analysis: Review and analyse insurance policies, claims documentation, and relevant materials to assess case strategy.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a supportive team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to drive successful outcomes.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited US law school.
  • Active license to practice law in California (Los Angeles jurisdiction).
  • Minimum 7 years of litigation experience, specifically in first-party property insurance law.
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining client relationships and generating new business.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently from inception to resolution.
  • Prior experience working with expert witnesses in insurance claim disputes.
  • Familiarity with bad faith insurance practices and litigation strategy.

Non-Negotiables:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Los Angeles, California
  • Must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be legally authorised to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
