Description: We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to lead engaging and inclusive art classes for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). The ideal candidate will foster a supportive environment that encourages self-expression, skill-building, and personal growth through art.Key Responsibilities:· Develop and implement adaptive art lesson plans tailored to diverse abilities.· Provide individualized support to students, ensuring accessibility and engagement.· Utilize various art mediums (painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, etc.).· Encourage self-expression and creativity while promoting confidence and independence.· Collaborate with support staff to ensure a safe and enriching learning experience.· Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.· Organize art exhibitions or showcases to celebrate artist achievements.Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Art, Special Education, or a related field (preferred).· Experience working with adults with IDD in an educational or therapeutic setting.· Strong understanding of adaptive teaching methods and inclusive practices.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Patience, creativity, and a passion for empowering individuals through art.How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and portfolio to hr@techinc.orgSatisfactory background screenings and drug screenings required
