Position Highlights The University of Arizona College of Fine Arts is accepting applications for a Limited Term Adjunct Instructor position that will become available for the Fall 2025 semester for Arts Resource Development, FA 405/505. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Adjunct instructor will be responsible for teaching FA 405/505 on main campus.
  • Teaching responsibilities include traditional course delivery, independent studies, as well as creation and revision of course content.
  • Prepare course syllabi, assignments, and activities.
  • Prepare and deliver course lectures/workshops.
  • Critique and grade student assignments and examinations.
  • Maintain regular office hours.
  • Adjunct instructors may be required to attend meetings and submit materials as requested throughout the term of appointment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Professional level proficiency in one or more content areas.
  • Teaching and presentation skills.
  • Ability to be flexible to support a variety of student backgrounds.
  • A genuine interest in student success.
  • Communication skills (presentation, interpersonal, written).
  • Willing to mentor students to achieve academically.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in related discipline or equivalent professional credentials or certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Terminal Degree in related discipline.
  • 4 years University level teaching experience in related discipline.
