Description: Job Title: Senior Project ArchitectJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Architect to join our expanding office in Raleigh. This role involves overseeing projects, managing a multi-disciplinary team, and leveraging your network for business development. As a team leader, you will help expand our presence in Raleigh, supported by an established firm.Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a team of architects and engineers in the completion of assigned projects.
• Coordinate all architectural documentation with outside consultants and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure the quality and competence of the documents produced under your direction.
• Perform or supervise construction administrative duties, including shop drawing review, on-site reviews, field reports, and RFI responses, ensuring these files are properly organized.
• Manage and mentor a growing team, fostering collaboration across disciplines.
• Develop and maintain client relationships while leveraging your network to generate new business opportunities.
• Coordinate and collaborate with leadership located in Chicago, IL, to contribute to the strategic growth of the office.

Essential Skills

• Master’s degree in architecture or a 5-year BA in Architecture Degree.
• Minimum 15 years of project experience.
• Architectural license required.
• Knowledgeable in Revit and Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong understanding of architectural design development, construction documents, codes, standards, and other disciplines.
• Solid knowledge base of architectural and engineering systems, products, building materials, and specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of building and zoning codes and the permitting process preferred.
• Industrial architectural experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of North Carolina State and IBC building and zoning codes and the permitting process.

Work EnvironmentThe individual will work out of the Morrisville, NC location.
