- Lead creative art direction: Oversee and execute the artistic vision for photo and video projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with client goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work alongside producers, photographers, videographers, and post-production teams to bring creative concepts to life.
- Conceptualize and develop ideas: Pitch and brainstorm innovative concepts for product shoots, lifestyle content, and e-commerce visuals that capture the essence of each brand. Building shotlists and look books are an impolrtant aspect fo the job.
- Client interaction: Engage with clients to understand their vision, refine concepts, and deliver work that exceeds expectations.
- Project oversight: Manage multiple projects at once, ensuring timely execution, effective communication, and the highest level of creative output.
- Elevate the Supernatural brand: Push boundaries and bring fresh ideas to the table, continually raising the bar for the studio’s creative work and establishing new standards of excellence.
Requirements
- Applicants must be legally able to work on-site in Austin, TX. We cannot sponsor work visas for this role at this time.
- 5+ years of Agency or Studio experience: Previous experience in an agency or studio environment, particularly working with high-profile consumer brands, is a plus.
- Art Direction expertise: A strong background in Art Direction, with a portfolio that demonstrates creativity, technical skill, and the ability to execute across various content types (product photography, lifestyle, e-commerce).
- Experience leading teams: Proven experience leading creative teams and guiding projects from concept to completion.
- Exceptional visual storytelling: A keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of visual composition, lighting, and styling to create captivating, high-quality content.
- Collaborative mindset: Ability to work effectively with producers, photographers, videographers, and clients to bring ideas to life and solve creative challenges.
- Adaptability and innovation: A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to new trends, technologies, and creative challenges.
