Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills support those at the location. Sat 03:00 PM – 11:00 PMResponsibilities:

• Provide customer service to individuals at the government location by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual observations according to established protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Communicate with site staff and visitors to provide information and assistance as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Nevada Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
