Description: The Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado (PIIAC) is looking for a dynamic person for the role of Marketing/Communications/Events Coordinator.The ideal candidate will have the ability to be detail-oriented, as well as possess the creativity to manage all aspects of branding and communications.This is an in-person/in-office role.Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the marketing and communications for the association.
  • Collaborate throughout the organization to be sure all marketing is done in a coordinated manner.
  • Gain knowledge of all aspects of the organization.
  • Utilize association management system to organize all members, prospects, mailing lists, and other distribution lists.
  • Manage all the organization’s data. Segmenting the distribution of our message based on the needs of each contact.
  • Utilize different platforms to drive engagement, registration of events, and participation in all programs.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of association events. Some events will be coordinated with a team; other events will be the responsibility of this individual.
  • Attend association events throughout the year.
  • All administrative tasks that go along with marketing coordination and event management.
  • Additional tasks as assigned by leadership to support the needs of the association.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Project management experience and time management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects
  • Familiarity with various marketing platforms and channels, including social media, print campaigns, digital marketing and email promotions.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate marketing metrics effectively
  • High degree of creativity and innovation to develop unique, effective marketing strategies
  • Experience with computer software programs used for keyword research, A/B testing, database management and content creation
  • Market research experience and an understanding of how to identify target audiences
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Display leadership competencies, including ability to delegate, engage, and inspire others.
  • Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Driven and goal-oriented individual.
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
  • Be capable of handling customer rejection.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing, customer service.
  • Be equipped with great listening skills.
  • Able to manage their own workflows with limited supervision.
  • Willingness to do numerous tasks to support the organization.
