Description: Compensation Range:Position Summary:Hiring Salary Range: $67,051.44 to $73,756.58 depending on qualifications.Senior technical position within the College Communications Office responsible for the overall development, implementation and maintenance of the college’s external website and intranet environment. Responsible for coordinating the technical planning, development, and integration of HCC platforms for communication and collaboration.Job Duties:

• Provides technical and project leadership in conjunction with senior communications managers to ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to students, employees and external stakeholders.
• Ensure internal and external communications resources are consistent across all media and units of the organization.
• Identify and reduce redundant or conflicting communication processes and workflows in the College.
• Evaluate new and existing processes to make internal and external information more easily available and accessible.
• Oversee the development of automated workflows to improve the efficiency of collaboration and communication across the various platforms.
• Provides technical and project leadership supporting all technical process improvement projects and associated fiscal resources.
• Responsible for researching and evaluating technical solutions for HCC’s web environments and providing institution-wide strategic recommendations in further leveraging technology for enhanced marketing and communications.

• Develops, implements, and maintains the HCC web environments including Drupal, SharePoint, WordPress, etc.
• Oversees functional consulting services to HCC user departments.
• Develops, documents and maintains applications-related change management processes ensuring efficient, reliable, and secure web applications.
• Works with director and staff to support specific project teams and assigns fiscal resources within a project budget in order to insure the development, implementation, and maintenance of all HCC web environments.
• Performs other similar and related duties as required.

Required Qualifications:The position requires (1) at least a Bachelor’s degree and at least six years of prior-related work experience, OR (2) at least a Master’s degree and at least four years of prior-related work experience.Close Date: July 23, 2025.
