In School Year 2022-2023 (SY23), BSD served nearly 3,300 PreK – Grade 12 students across 12 centralized campuses and additional locations for Burlington Technical Center programs. Burlington School District is accepting applications for a passionate and energetic German Teacher for a who is committed to high levels of achievement of all students at Burlington High School. The ideal candidate is certified in German with certification and/or ability to obtain certification in an additional language preferred. Key components of this job include creating and maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment where mutual trust and respect can foster with students from all backgrounds and abilities. They will adhere to state curriculum standards, and collect and report on correct and detailed records of student performance. The ideal candidate will create, organize, and implement meaningful and engaging lessons/instructional programs for diverse groups of students in a High school level learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential, as well as help them develop their character, personality, and social and emotional skills.INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES:(include but not limited to)

between the Burlington Board of School Commissioners and the Burlington Education Association. This is a salaried position paid Bi-Weekly with a lump sum payment for the summer period.
