Description: Our rapidly-growing law practice is seeking a full-time legal intake specialist to join our team! You’ll survey prospective clients and empathize with them on the details of their case, manage new client onboarding and data entry, and help our lawyers book and manage their appointments. We’ll provide the training and resources to help you flourish in your role on a tight-knit, supportive, and passionate legal team. • Serve as the first point of contact for leads seeking legal assistance through one of our communication channels. No Cold Calling – all leads have asked us to contact them or are calling us
• Evaluate prospective client inquiries, phone calls, and online leads, analyzing their case fit and making sure they feel seen and heard
• Book consultations for prospective clients with our lawyers to expand our caseload and ensure meeting schedules are accurate
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all prospective client interactions, case details, and related documents. Input data into case management systems or databases for easy access and retrieval
• Guide prospective clients through the onboarding process to ensure signed documents and payment are collected for prompt retention
• Participate in continuous guided and self directed training to stay updated on procedures, terminology, and best practices for client interaction

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with CRM and case management software is desired
• Previous legal experience is highly valued; a basic understanding of criminal law to better assess potential cases and communicate effectively with clients and attorneys is considered a plus
• Strong ability to communicate eloquently and empathetically is a must
• Sales or customer service experience is highly valued
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a plus
