Description: Job PurposeThis role focuses on developing engineering applications to solve complex problems and improve efficiency through automation. It involves designing solutions by considering feedback from stakeholders, past experiences, and teamwork. Key responsibilities include building and supporting engineering applications while providing guidance to users and managers on development strategies. The role also includes working with team members to enhance applications and processes, ensuring ongoing improvements and innovation.Job DescriptionUnder general direction, use and apply principals, theories, concepts and techniques to complete activities and projects of a large and complex scale.Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining effective solutions.Provide direction and leadership in regard to system architecture and process executionLarge project work – function as a project team leader on a regular basisTransfer knowledge and skills to less developed team membersMentor other team membersApply programming skills to develop solutions with other team membersProduce work, apply experience, provide expertise, mentor, implement, assist, analyze and share informationResearch, identify and resolve problems and manage change within the established environmentQualificationsBS degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent with 5 years of experience in the field as a minimumPreferable to have extensive experience working in an engineering environment supporting processes and systemsUsing the following languages / applications regularly:

• Awk – mastery
• Cgi
• javascript
• C/C++
• Batch/cmd on windows
• Shell scripting (bash or ksh) on linux
• Perl
• apache
• XML
• HTML
• 2+ years experience integrating solutions across multiple platforms using multiple languages
• 2+ years experience with integration and configuration of browsers, Apache web server configuration
• Ability to adapt to using new languages and processes
