Description: IT Enterprise Architect – Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)Duration: 11 MonthsThe IT Enterprise Architect plays a key role in aligning agency needs with technology solutions to drive innovation and shape the overall IT strategy. This position involves system analysis and design review, ensuring business problems are understood, requirements are proposed, and collaborating with teams to create architecture designs.

• Review business, security, service, and information systems for proposed solutions.
• Ensure enterprise IT projects align with business and IT goals.
• Evaluate statewide IT procurements and awards for alignment with standards and solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategy.
• Identify improvement opportunities in technology infrastructure and applications.
• Establish enterprise architecture principles, guidelines, and best practices.
• Assess risks related to enterprise architecture and work with stakeholders for improvement.
• Guide and support enterprise-wide IT projects and procurements.
• Evaluate third-party vendors and solutions for adherence to standards.
• Implement architectural standards and frameworks, staying updated with technology trends.

Must Have:

• 7+ years of experience as a senior technologist in a large-scale organization.
• 7+ years of working knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, applications, and data management.
• 7+ years of experience with IT governance and defining IT principles and frameworks.
• 7+ years of experience aligning enterprise architecture with business strategy.
