FTE: 0.6 FTE (8hrs/day, 3 days/wk)Job Summary:
Applicant is responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing an educational and social experience for children ages three to five years old. The preschool teacher plans and provides the age appropriate lessons and activities to develop a child’s motor, emotional, social, and pre-kindergarten skills. Coordinate support staff and works with parents, specialists, and early childhood special education staff to provide a fun, safe and quality program for students of various needs.Essential Skills Required:

• Ability to develop a rapport with children and explain concepts in a simple and understandable manner
• Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district
• Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families
• Experience working with diverse students and families – experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred

This postion is teaching a MWF AM and PM preschool classes (3 days/wk; 8hrs/day). Will have some T/Th for staff development and parent/teacher conferences during the year based on school calendar.

Salary: $30.18 – 34.83 per hour
