- Develop student abilities to perform at maximum level of independence in community setting
- Be involved in the development and implementation of individual plans for students in the program
- Provide a structured and secure classroom environment for the students
- Record and report student progress
QUALIFICATIONS:
- NYS Certification in Special Education
- Knowledge of NYS Learning and NYSAA
- Knowledge of Curriculum and effective instructional strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the team
STARTING DATE: September 2025SALARY: $54,357 (2025-26 Base Salary) Consideration for additional salary may be granted based upon education and experience.BENEFITS: Membership in the NYS Teacher Retirement System, health insurance, sick, and personal leave
