• Design groundbreaking experiments: Create and test novel Nanopore library preparation methods
• Push technical boundaries: Experiment with unconventional sample types and challenging genomic regions
• Develop new protocols: Optimize workflows for MinION, GridION, and PromethION platforms

Computational Experimentation

• Build next-generation pipelines: Develop experimental bioinformatics workflows using Python, R, and emerging tools
• Explore uncharted data: Analyze complex genomic datasets to uncover novel biological insights
• Create custom solutions: Design specialized analysis approaches for unique experimental challenges

Essential Qualifications:

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or Bioinformatics with 0-5 years postdoctoral experience
• Proven experimental mindset: Track record of designing and executing novel research approaches
• Technical expertise: Hands-on experience with Nanopore sequencing and computational genomics
• Programming skills: Proficiency in Python, R, and command-line tools
