Description: Overview:JerseySTEM is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the STEM education gap for underserved middle school students in New Jersey. We are seeking a Volunteer WordPress Website Administrator to help maintain and enhance our website. This role involves updating content, ensuring site performance, and supporting online fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced with Elementor and GiveWP. Your contributions will help amplify our impact and outreach in the community.This is a pro-bono volunteer position.The Webmaster is responsible for designing, coding, and modifying the JerseySTEM website, from layout to function. In this role, the Webmaster strives to create a visually appealing site that features user-friendly design and clear navigation.Volunteer WordPress Website Administrator

Location: Remote
Time Commitment: 30–45 minutes per weekdayResponsibilities:Monitor website performance, availability, and security on a daily basisUpdate pages, posts, and content using Elementor page builderManage and maintain donation functionality via GiveWPPublish news, events, and blog posts in coordination with content volunteersApply routine plugin and WordPress updates, ensuring compatibilityImplement basic security measures and troubleshoot technical issuesRecommend website improvements based on user experience and feedbackMaintain consistency in branding, formatting, and messaging across pages Qualifications:Required:Proficiency with WordPress administrationHands-on experience with Elementor and GiveWPUnderstanding of basic website maintenance and SEO best practicesAbility to work independently and communicate effectively in a virtual teamPreferred:Experience with nonprofit websites or volunteer-based projectsFamiliarity with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, or TrelloBasic HTML/CSS knowledge and understanding of web accessibilityThis is a pro-bono volunteer position.Requirements:

• Reliable weekday availability for 30–45 minutes per day
