Description: Job SummaryThe Director of Human Resources will lead all HR functions at a resort, including recruiting, benefits administration, compliance, budgeting, training, and employee relations. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring the ability to guide leadership while also managing daily HR operations and compliance with federal and state laws.Must-Have Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field
• 3+ years of experience in HR management
• Experience recruiting for executive or key leadership positions
• Strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws
• Experience administering benefit programs (health, PTO, workers’ comp, etc.)
• Budgeting experience in an HR department
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• HR experience in a hotel or resort setting
• Professional certification (PHR or SHRM-CP)
• Proficiency with HRIS and HR-related software
• Experience building relationships with local agencies and educational institutions
• Familiarity with conducting audits and policy implementation
