Description: Home Instead is looking for In Home Caregivers in the Colorado Springs area!Objective: Home Instead® In Home Caregivers provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes as they age. These services are meant to enhance the quality of life for seniors. Home Instead® Care Professionals help clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care, and compassion.Benefits:Medical Insurance401(k) with 4% matchingPaid Time Off,Flexible SchedulesReferral bonusesSchedule:Minimum – 16 hours per week (part-time)/Maximum – 40 hours per week (full-time)Pay Rate: $17-$18 per hour depending on experiencePrimary Responsibilities:– Contribute to a positive living environment to enhance a client’s quality of life– Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence issues when needed– Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care– Assistance with Hospice Care– Companionship and conversation– Document daily activities and report any significant changes in a client’s needs or living conditions.– Maintain regular communication with office staffEssential Job Requirements:– Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds– Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach– Possess a valid driver’s license– Possess valid auto insurance– Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect– Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations– Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

Salary: $17 per hour
