Position Summary:
Rossville Elementary School is seeking a passionate and creative Elementary Art Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will foster a love of art in students, promote creative expression, and integrate visual arts into the broader educational experience. This position serves students in grades K–5 and plays a vital role in supporting the development of fine motor skills, visual literacy, and cultural awareness through hands-on art education.Responsibilities Summary:
The Elementary Art Teacher will design and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with state standards, fostering creativity and artistic expression in students K–5. Duties include managing classroom supplies and student artwork, collaborating with colleagues, showcasing student art, integrating cross-curricular content, and maintaining communication with parents and staff.Qualifications Summary:
Candidates must hold a valid Indiana teaching license. A license in Visual Arts (K–12) or Elementary Education with an Art Education endorsement is preferred. Preferred applicants will have teaching experience, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to deliver standards-based instruction that fosters student growth and engagement.
