***Must have law firm experience. Please do not apply if you do not have accounting experience within a law firm.***Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Accounting department and managing partner to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.Responsibilities

  • Enter financial data and transactions
  • Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
  • Prepare trial balance
  • Analyze budgets and other financial information
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Complete required tax forms
  • Input client trust account deposits & business account deposits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
  • Previously handled law firm accounting
  • Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
  • Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

Loaction:

  • In office (ONLY)

Salary: $75000 – 90000 per year

Location: Los Angeles, CA
