Description: Job Description:FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEARSUMMARYThe role of the teacher is to teach students read, write, problem solve, compute, how to find information, how to think, how to work co-operatively with others, and to meet all district required curriculum objectives.QUALIFICATIONSCertification:Must have a Health & PE K-12 Certification.Knowledge and Skills:Possess a broad knowledge of all fitness areas with specific ability to perform each of the physical activities taught; group dynamics and interpersonal skills. Possesses knowledge of physiological, emotional, and educational behavioral development of children; classroom developmentally appropriate management skills which include discipline as well as record keeping and assessment abilities.Abilities:Problem solving, imagination, patience, reasoning, creativity, judgment, and analytical abilities.Salary:Range – $58,639 – $92,815Building Locations: Tri-Community Elementary School and Chambers Hill Elementary Split, Linglestown Middle School
