Description: A trusted government agency is looking for a Secretary/Admin Assistant to work in their Downtown LA office. They will be assisting callers and route all general telephone inquiries accordingly, complaints or emergency calls. If you have worked for a government entity that would be a huge plus!

  • Reviewing emails regarding and giving priority to those from staff, and Board
  • Handling and screening incoming calls, and visitors, and reviewing voicemail message boxes hourly
  • Participating in meetings daily or as needed (virtually or in person)(usually 30 min. or less) with Exec Director and Special Assistant to clarify Calendar and Priorities (already scheduled)
  • Highly Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel, Teams, Type 40 wpm
  • This is a long term temporary role.
  • Must be able to clear a Live Scan background check
  • Administrative/Clerical experience needed. Government experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Salary: $20 – 21 per hour
