The Carbon County Area Agency on Aging is seeking highly motivated candidates with great organization, communication, and creative problem solving skills to join our social services team as Aging Case Aide 2s. Do not miss this rewarding career assisting the most vulnerable elderly members of our community!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAn employee in this position will advocate for, protect, and promote a continuum of care designed to assist older adults in leading independent, meaningful, and dignified lives in their own homes and communities for as long as possible. You will provide program information to consumers about services, programs, or community resources, as well as be the initial contact person completing reports of abuse, exploitation, abandonment, or self-neglect to help our team determine the best way to support each consumer. Work also includes helping consumers with applications for a variety of benefits and referring them to other agencies, programs, or service providers as needed. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills by serving as PA-MEDI Coordinator, backing up other team members for various office functions, and providing Person Centered Counseling to assist consumers in alleviating less-complex problems.Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• This position travels as necessary.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as an Aging Case Aide 1; or
• Two years of public contact work, including one year in a human services program; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
