Description: Job Description:We are seeking an Art Program Instructor for an 8-10 hour position, available one day per week or two half days. The ideal candidate will teach one weekly art class at BCS and one at Riverside, ideally between 10 AM and 2 PM. This role is a great opportunity for existing staff looking for additional responsibilities, as it allows for flexibility within your schedule.Requirements:

• Candidates should have a high school diploma and experience or education in Art Therapy.

Summary:In this role, you will coordinate participant involvement, oversee local exhibits, and manage art-related sales while fostering a supportive environment for positive growth and development. You will provide routine support to program participants under the supervision of the AED and Program Director, leading art classes that include preparation, instruction, and clean-up. Additionally, you’ll assist participants in skill-building activities aligned with their Life Plan goals, coordinate and prepare artwork for exhibitions, and manage inventory for art sales. You will also maintain written documentation of participant progress and contribute to the Life Plan process, supporting self-advocacy among participants. Collaboration is key, as you will communicate team concerns to management and coordinate class schedules with Activity Leaders.
