Description: Job Description:FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEARSUMMARYThe role of the teacher is to teach students to read, write, problem solve, compute, how to find information, how to think, how to work co-operatively with others, and to meet all district required curriculum objectives.QUALIFICATIONSCertification:Art: Must have an Art K-12 Certification.Knowledge and Skills:Knowledge of content and pedagogy skills in planning and preparation, establishing and maintaining a purposeful learning environment. Skill in delivering instruction, engaging students in learning and assessing and evaluating students. Ability to communicate clearly with students, parents and other district employees.Abilities:Problem solving, imagination, patience, reasoning, creativity, judgment, and analytical abilities.Hours: 7:20 am – 2:50pmPay Rate: $58,639 – $92,815 (based on highest earned degree and years of experience)Benefits: Health- 11.5% premium share with minimal deductible and low co-paysDental – 100% coveredVision – 100% coveredLife Insurance – 100% covered, $50,000 in coveragePennsylvania School Employees Retirement SystemBuilding Location: Central Dauphin High School
