At Skyway, we believe that recovery is not only possible but also attainable for all patients.Role DescriptionArt Therapists report directly to the Program Manager at Skyway Behavioral Health (SBH). The Art Therapist develops, plans, implements, facilitates, directs and evaluates art-therapy based programming in specialized treatment areas. Experiential Therapists in general will have a strong ability to plan and deliver expressive arts activities within the group setting. Art therapists at SBH encounter a diverse array of patients and clinical need, such as individuals experiencing trauma and co-occurring disorders, notably eating disorders, personality disorders and mood/anxiety disorders. Art therapists will exhibit strong interpersonal skills with patience and colleagues, creative problem solving, empathy and passion for improving the lives of SBH patients.Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities
