As the Arts Program Manager, you will spearhead the implementation of the new Comprehensive Arts Plan (CAP) for Loudoun County. The CAP presents a vision, goals, and strategies for the future of arts and culture development in the County. The Arts Program Manager will spearhead and collaborate with a variety of organizations to implement countywide actionable strategies for developing Loudoun County as a community that prioritizes its artists and offers unique experiences to its residents through increased public art and community programming.The role requires familiarity with the multifaceted responsibilities of public arts administration, including managing and acquiring public art, gallery management, innovative arts programming, arts education, and event planning. This position manages budgets and contracts and actively supports the Board of Supervisors-appointed Loudoun Arts Advisory Committee. In addition, the Arts Program Manager serves as a leader and subject matter expert for the department, utilizing knowledge of policies and procedures to advise management on applicable laws and regulations. This position will manage a full-time Arts Curator, and one to four additional future positions outlined in the CAP. The ideal candidate will incorporate PRCS values (excellence, collaboration, innovation, integrity, and resilience) in all they do to support and develop the arts in Loudoun.We are currently hiring for the following location(s):

Must undergo criminal, credit, and DMV background checks. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required (driving records may be assessed annually to ensure ongoing eligibility).
