💰 Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
📄 Employment Type: Full-time, Hybrid (3+ days in-office)About the Role:An established law firm is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee key accounting functions. This role plays a critical part in financial operations, ensuring compliance, managing payroll and partner compensation, and optimizing internal controls.Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Tax, Payroll, and Banking Operations.
• Assist in monthly financial statement preparation and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely vendor payments and tax compliance.
• Manage payroll for employees and partners, including bonuses, distributions, and retirement contributions.
• Work with external tax consultants for regulatory compliance and K-1 issuance.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Liaise with external auditors for financial reviews and audits.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA highly preferred).
• Prior experience in law firm or professional services accounting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of partnership accounting, K-1s, and capital account analysis

Salary: $150000 per year
