Description: De Mott, Curtright & Armendariz, LLP is a stable, growing, and fast-paced immigration law firm looking for a compassionate, intelligent, and career-minded Associate Attorney in Irving, Texas (Dallas). We are seeking an attorney with preferred immigration experience including but not limited to family-based immigration, consular work, waiver and deportation defense. Strong research, writing and analytical skills a must. Must be ethical and a motivated team player with superior organization ability. We are looking for an attorney who is committed to advocating for immigrants within a shifting legal landscape.Duties and Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with other attorneys, legal assistants, and administrative assistantsPerform case analysis and develop case strategies for a diverse caseloadManage a caseload from intake through processing and filingDraft supplemental statements, rebuttals to NOID’s and RFE’s, and prepare and file immigration applications and motions with USCIS/EOIRConduct legal research to support immigration applicationsReview applications and approve for submissionPrepare clients and attend court/USCIS interviewsRespond to immigration inquiries in a timely manner while adhering to government deadlinesMaintain proper client files and evidence required to prove eligibilityMaintain proper case management notes in our client management systemPerform other related duties and special projects, as requestedRequirements:Juris DoctorateSpanish language fluencyActive bar admissionPrevious case management experience strongly preferredBenefits:In addition to personally rewarding work, DMCA offers a generous benefit plan which includes medical insurance with employee coverage 100% employer-paid, optional dental & vision at group rates, and employer-paid life and LTD plans.
