Description: Rye Country Day School is seeking an Associate Director of Website Services and Marketing beginning by August 2025. This is a full-time 12-month onsite position reporting to the Director of Institutional Publications & Communications.Rye Country Day School is a coeducational, Prek-12, college preparatory school located in Westchester County, New York dedicated to providing students with an excellent education using both traditional and innovative approaches.   • Maintain the School’s advertising calendar, coordinating deadlines across departments (Admissions, Advancement, Summer and After-School Programs) to ensure timely delivery of content for print, digital, and social media.
  • Ensure that all marketing efforts are data-driven, through market and peer research and a knowledge of trends in Pre-K – Grade 12 enrollment and communications
  • Produce and distribute the weekly parent newsletter (e-notes), ensuring clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Manage the parent portal on Veracross, updating resources, calendars, announcements, and important dates. Assist with any external (parent) website questions or issues.
  • Maintain CampBrain for auxiliary program registration
  • Build and send school emails via Veracross and Mailchimp, including event invitations, reminders, and newsletters.
  • Update and maintain the School’s website (Finalsite) and mobile app. This includes:
  • Maintaining a regular schedule of website redesigns and optimizations
  • Coordinating with faculty and staff to ensure up-to-date and accurate content.
  • Own day-to-day communications with Finalsite regarding website issues or enhancements
  • Serve as the internal project manager for the School’s upcoming website redesign, working with key school stakeholders and external partners to execute a successful relaunch.
  • Serve on school event committees to ensure branded representation of the School
  • Attend occasional weekend and evening events as a representative of the School
  • Provide regular marketing support for Advancement, Admissions, and Academic Departments
  • Assist with social media publishing and monitoring, as assigned
  • Assist with photography and video needs for marketing and communications purposes.

Desired qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy team player.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, namely the ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing across departments and constituencies
  • Experience managing a website CMS, specifically Finalsite
  • Experience managing a CRM (Veracross experience preferred)
  • Experience with HTML and email platforms
  • Knowledge of navigating Google Analytics and other web performance tools
  • Keen attention to detail and experience with QA protocols
  • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous projects
  • Positive, flexible, and collaborative team member.
  • Familiarity with independent schools or mission-driven organizations is a plus.
