Description: We are seeking an attorney who can provide quality legal services to our large, diverse client base. • Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
• Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
• Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a law firm for a minimum of 1-2 years required
• Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role
• Candidates must currently be a member of their local bar association – active member preferred
• Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
• Regular court appearances in multiple counties, primarily Gwinnett, Walton, Newton, Barrow, Jackson, Athens-Clarke, Rockdale, and the municipalities they contain.
• Attention to detail, the devil is in the details, and usually so is the client’s defense. Familiarity with CLIO, Odyssey, Peachcourt, and Trello is a plus, but not required.
