Description: Attorney – ShareholderOur Client is seeking an experienced Attorney Shareholder specializing in Employment Law to join our team in Tampa, FL. As a full-time, permanent member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company that values teamwork, diversity, and a commitment to excellence.As an Attorney Shareholder, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients on a variety of employment law matters, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and employee benefits. You will also be responsible for managing a team of attorneys and paralegals, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with clients.Key Responsibilities:– Provide legal advice and representation to clients on employment law matters– Manage a team of attorneys and paralegals, including assigning and reviewing work, providing guidance and training, and conducting performance evaluations– Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues– Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs– Represent clients in court and administrative proceedings– Stay up-to-date on changes in employment laws and regulations– Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services to clients– Participate in business development activities, including networking events and client presentations– Mentor and train junior attorneys and staff members– Maintain accurate and organized case files and documents– Adhere to ethical standards and comply with all applicable laws and regulationsQualifications:– Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school– Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing– Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing employment law– Experience managing a team of attorneys and paralegals– Excellent written and verbal communication skills– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills– Ability to work independently and handle a high-volume caseload– Proven track record of successful client relationships and business development– Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations– Proficient in legal research and writing– Ability to travel as neededIf you are a highly motivated and experienced Employment Law Attorney looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Questions: Contact mclayton@mbc-talent.com
