Description: Our Client, a Real Estate And Financial Services company, is looking for an AWS Cloud Architect/Engineer for their McLean, VA/Hybrid location.Responsibilities:

• Database management: Design, implement, and maintain Cloud based DBs like AWS Aurora, MongoDB Atlas, Document DB, Neptune, Dynamo DB, Elastic Cache using AWS services
• Cloud Automation: Develop automation, workflows for provisioning, configuration, backups, patching, and scaling using tools like AWS CloudFormation, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Python etc.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use IaC tools (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Rafay) to manage infrastructure as Code.
• Database Performance Tuning: Expertise and depth in one or more DB technologies specifically on performance tuning aspects of Database and SQL queries

Requirements:

• 7+ years with preference of 10+ dealing with database backgrounds, Cloud database -AWS Lambda, CTF , Automation, Python , Ansible, PowerShell
• Strong experience in AWS Cloud Automation responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based database systems while leveraging automation, scalability, and reliability of the systems.
• Strong Database Architecture and Engineering skills
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization of services via OAuth.
• Experience in understanding & implementation Cloud Database Security – IAM & Managed AD
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Database Engineering and Architecture including supporting production environments
• 7+ years of related industry experience in an enterprise environment
• Demonstrable experience with
• Postgres Aurora, MongoDB and emerging database technologies like Graph DB, Vector DB
• AWS Cloud Engineering/operations
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git and Artifactory
• Scripting languages (e.g., Groovy / Perl / Python / Ruby)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, driven, and creative individual
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience(required)
