Description: Hooks Meng & Clement (HMC) is on the lookout for an Associate Attorney to join our growing Carson City office that specializes in Industrial Litigation, representing a diverse clientele, including employers, insurers, and third-party administrators. Compensation & Benefits: • Salary: $100,000+ annual salary • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision • Retirement: 401(k) Responsibilities: • Represent clients in court and before government agencies, both in-person and remotely. • Draft legal documents and correspondence as well as conduct thorough legal research. • Must be able to meet or exceed monthly billing requirements. • Strategize and plan meticulously for clients, ensuring attention to detail in all cases. • Daily use of our electronic case management system to keep files updated and organized. • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, not just representation. • Stay informed about Nevada statutes and regulations. • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment on multiple cases and with multiple deadlines. Qualifications: • Must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Nevada. • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. • Exceptional attention to detail. • Adaptable, flexible, and dependable. • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team. • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Daily use of an electronic case management system. • Have an interest in Litigation and Administrative Law and strive to exemplify the highest level of respect and performance. • Ability to bring A-Game Daily!
