We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Certified GA Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our dynamic team of educators.Position Overview:We are looking for a Certified GA Pre-K Lead Teacher who will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for our Pre-K students. As the Lead Teacher, you will manage a classroom of young learners, provide individualized support, and collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure the success and well-being of each child. This is a full-time position requiring a strong commitment to fostering a positive and enriching learning environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate, engaging, and effective lesson plans based on Georgia’s Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS).
• Lead daily classroom activities, including circle time, hands-on learning, and outdoor play, ensuring the physical, social, and emotional needs of students are met.
• Monitor and assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment tools, keeping records of individual student development. Knowledge of WSO
• Establish a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity, respect, and cooperation.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administration to ensure the smooth operation of the Pre-K program and contribute to a team-oriented school environment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Adhere to all state regulations, school policies, and best practices for early childhood education.
• Attend professional development workshops and meetings to stay current with educational trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC) certification in Early Childhood Education (P-5) or a Certified GA Pre-K Teacher credential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of early childhood development, including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical stages.
• Previous experience teaching in a Pre-K or early childhood education setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong classroom management skills and a patient, nurturing attitude.
• Passion for teaching and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young children.
