Join us!The Chief Marketing Officer will be instrumental in developing a world-class marketing organization and center of excellence across Signet’s portfolio of brands. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, this Chief Marketing Officer will be responsible for creating and driving integrated marketing experiences, data-driven consumer excellence, and unified commerce transformation in order to accelerate business growth and enhance customer experiences online and offline.Core Responsibilities:Partnering with global brand and regional/business leaders, s/he will influence all aspects of marketing, with an emphasis on defining, developing, and executing marketing programs that contribute to growth through customer acquisition, retention, loyalty, platform innovation and brand partnerships / collaborations. The CMO will implement a marketing Center of Excellence that uses data and insights to apply a structured approach to marketing. The customer will be the focal point for all aspects of the marketing strategy, and the CMO will help teams drive a data-oriented, full-funnel marketing strategy that drives new customer acquisition, retention, and overall revenue across all customer engagement channels and touchpoints.

  • Build full-funnel, integrated marketing strategy recommendations that drive growth both in-store and through eCommerce
  • Within each brand, partner with the brand Presidents to develop clear storytelling, and activate against all core channels and consumer engagement points (e.g., owned websites, retail, social, CRM)
  • Effectively manage a marketing budget of $600M against defined metrics and KPIs
  • Drive lead generation and traffic acquisition strategies across the portfolio. Build an immersive, customized, and personalized set of brand experiences across all messaging and outreach
  • Build and lead a centralized marketing COE across insights, data & analytics, data science, marketing innovation, and marketing finance; this COE will build marketing efficiencies across all brands
  • Develop and nurture relationships and focused experiences within emerging community-building and growth platforms, piloting new strategies and tactics to achieve marketing objectives across the portfolio
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, inspiring, creative, and world-class marketing capability that understand consumer trends, insights, and behaviors
  • Deepen Customer Relationship Management and overall customer lifetime value: build meaningful consumer loyalty and focus on improved, high-touch consumer experience
  • Instate tools and metrics to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI across channels. Improve capacity and utilization through Martech / Adtech stack
  • Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and work closely with other ELT members to ensure cohesion and alignment on strategy, operations, and execution
  • Set up and oversee a global marketing team that will develop and maintain an inspiring center of excellence. Be the evangelist to inspire and share across all constituents

Professional Qualifications:

  • Best-in-class marketer with a track record of increasing customer engagement to generate business growth. Has developed sophisticated and highly segmented campaigns and partnerships that drive measurable results across a portfolio of brands
  • Experience leading a global marketing strategy and a cross-functional team for a portfolio of brands
  • Retail experience is strongly preferred
  • Brand steward, focused on high-touch and premium initiatives that protect the brand while driving awareness and loyalty
  • Demonstrated success developing marketing COE strategies that drive growth and opportunities for top-line growth, continued share of wallet
  • Deep experience building strategic marketing plans, multi-platform branding campaigns, and creative visualization and working with agencies to maximize ROI and deepen CLV
  • Experienced navigating across a matrixed, omni-channel and operationally-driven organization
  • Hands-on inspirational leader with the ability to attract and retain a highly motivated and talented team in a performance and results-based organization
