Description: Closing Date: Monday, February 10th, 2025 at 9:00 PM (PST)Position: Arts and CultureDepartment: PARCSAnnual Salary: $77,723.16-$99,196.56Classification: Full-TimeFLSA: Exempt- Not Overtime EligibleJob Summary:Under the supervision of the Arts and Museums Manager, the Coordinator I – Arts and Culture works collaboratively with staff to implement, coordinate, and facilitate programs within The BLVD Cultural District, including MOAH: CEDAR, Studio 606, and various cultural events taking place throughout the year. Working interdepartmentally, the Coordinator I – Arts and Culture will identify, lead, and evaluate cultural district programming. The coordinator will be responsible for the district’s brand identity and marketing campaigns. The Coordinator I – Arts and Culture position will act as liaison between City departments and divisions, The BLVD Association, and other stakeholder groups such as cultural non- profits, arts organizations, and county, regional and state visitor’s associations and tourism bureaus. Additionally, this position will identify funding opportunities and resource development in support of the district’s events and cultural improvements. This position is funded by a grant from the State of California for a limited term which will end on June 30th,2026 should an extension of funding not be secured. This position reports to the PARCS Museum & Arts Supervisor.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
