If you are interested in a rewarding career in county government, advance your fiscal career with us!DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis is a professional social service position in a County Children and Youth Agency that is responsible for the fiscal operations of the agency. In this role, you will be developing and managing budgets, revenues, and expenditures. Accuracy will be key as you will be preparing reports , maintaining financial ledgers and journals, and completing other financial procedures needed for the agency. You will have the opportunity to provide supervision and evaluation of the workers in the fiscal and clerical units of the agency.Our staff perform a variety of social service and casework duties designed to provide supportive services to children, youth, and families. • Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Two years as a Fiscal Technician and six college credits in accounting; or
• Five years of bookkeeping experience and six college credits in accounting; or
• Three years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business related associate’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
• One year of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor’s degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.
