We offer a great team atmosphere and an excellent benefit package!DESCRIPTION OF WORKSocial Services Aide 1 is an entry level position and works closely with caseworkers and other social service aides to provide services in the home to families with children after a caseworker has visited and determined services to be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to provide one-on-one assistance and communication with families to work toward positive goals and outcomes. Duties may include assistance in all areas of family life including but not limited to household budgeting, in-home parenting education, proper hygiene, nutrition, cooking/food shopping skills and maintenance of the home. You may be responsible for transporting consumers to supervised visitation and necessary appointments, providing childcare when necessary, and assisting with the completion of applications and forms. Additional responsibilities may include:

• Completing written reports of each appointment with consumers
• Participating in meetings with other staff to develop treatment plans and set goals for consumers
• Attending court and testifying, if needed
• Performing clerical office duties as needed

Duties may include frequent standing, climbing steps, and walking distances as a normal part of the job duties. You must have the ability to climb flights of steps in homes or apartment buildings where no elevators are present. In order to succeed in this position, you must be able to manage multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines, and pay close attention to details under a constantly changing work environment. Work also includes traveling to areas that may not be accessible to public transportation, as well as routine evening and weekend work hours.Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
• This position requires possible travel requiring overnight stays, after-hours appointments for supervised visitations and transportation, as well as on-call hours when necessary.
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
